About Us

Healing train foundation is a non-profit organization(Reg CS no 797/2018)  committed to providing better healthcare for children and young adults, aged between 0 to 20 years. Healing Train Foundation runs hygiene education, menstrual care and health education programs in the needy areas of rural and urban India. Adequately addressing special healthcare needs is important in all countries, both to minimize loss of life and to maximize the potential of each individual. Supporting & improving health, self-esteem and hygiene education.

Access to atleast a basic level of quality services to promote health and treat illness is a right of every person. This is where we come in, We want to start working locally, to reach globally, to attempt to reduce the health burden. People living in weaker areas face many problems like improper sanitation, unhygienic health & conditions. The major problem inherent in slums and weaker areas is Health hazards. Slum dwellers are likely to be among the most underprivileged people in urban areas. Poor hygiene practices and inadequate sanitary conditions play major roles in the increased burden of communicable diseases within developing countries like ours.

Rural Healthcare is one of the biggest challenges in India today. People in economically depressed areas cannot afford health care, but they are the ones who need affordable basic health care the most. Poor health among underprivileged people is due to the lack of awareness of the health benefits of personal hygiene.

We believe by early intervention in the 4 most important sectors i.e., Development, Nutrition, Immunisation and Educating and training the mothers for social and healthy lifestyle awareness we would be strengthening the future of our children and thereby having a stronger society and a fruitful country.
